2.4 Intended use
The SCT 418 is a calibration device for calibrating ad‐
vanced driver assistance systems.
With SCT 418, calibration boards for the calibration of
front camera sensorscan be aligned in a vehicle-specic
manner.
SCT 418 is positioned by using the
"Bosch ADAS Positioning" software.
Diagnostic software such as "ESI[tronic] 2.0" is needed
for calibrating advanced driver assistance systems.

Foreseeable misuse
 SCT 418 is pulled or pushed by the measuring bar to
change the position.
 Only move SCT 418 using the alignment frame to
change the position.
The measuring bar or calibration device can be
damaged if the SCT 418 is pulled or pushed by
the measuring bar.

SCT 418 is used as a means of transport.

SCT 418 may only be used for alignment of calibra‐
tion boards.

The measuring bar of SCT 418 is used for leaning or
sitting.

Only load the measuring bar with calibration boards
(max. 10 Kg).
