2-7 Once the cable connection is made, slide the
brackets on the handlebar into the tops of the
upright tubes.
NOTE: Be careful not to crimp or cut the wire
at at any point during this step.
2-8 Attach each handlebar to the uprights using the
5/16 x 1 inch button head bolts (4 per handlebar)
and 5/16 inch washers.
2-9 Tighten the bolts using the 3/16 inch hex key.
Tighten the front bolt first, followed by the 3 bolts
on the inside of the uprights.
2-10 Recalibrate machine according to Appendix 3.

harness to ensure that the wires do not
become pinched or come into contact
with any moving part. The TreadClimber®
fitness machine will not work and an
electric shock hazard may be present if
the wires become pinched.
