MECHANICAL SERVICE GUIDE
2.0 - REPLACEMENT OF CONSOLE WITH HANDLEBARS
Tools Needed:
• Phillips Screwdriver
• 1/2 inch wrench
• 3/16 inch Allen wrench
NOTE: If using a powered driver, it must be on theLOW
TORQUEsetting, otherwise it will strip screws.
2-1 Unplug machine from outlet.
2-2 Wait 5-minutes after unplugging machine to ensure
there is no residual power.
2-3 TC5300 only:
Remove the right and left upper upright plastics by
removing 2 small screws from the inside of each
upright (see Figure 1 & 2).
2-4 Remove 4 button head bolts attaching console to
handlebars on both sides of machine (see Figure 3
& 4). NOTE: 3 bolts are located on the inside and 1
bolt is on the front side of the upright support.
2-5 With the help of another, carefully lift console out
and detach cable connector running through right
upright (see Figure 5 and 6).
2-6 Attach cable connector from new console to the
cable connector from the right upright.

AS LONG AS THE TREADCLIMBER® FITNESS
MACHINE IS PLUGGED INTO A POWERED OUTLET
AND THE POWER SWITCH IS ON, THE UNIT IS
RECEIVING POWER, EVEN IF THE DISPLAY IS
TURNED OFF. ALWAYS UNPLUG THE POWER CORD
FROM THE OUTLET AND WAIT 5-MINUTES BEFORE
PERFORMING REPAIRS OR MAINTENANCE.
