Traditionally, French bread has a crispier crust and lighter texture than white bread. Recipes
usually do not include butter, margarine, or milk.
Press the MENU Button until 2 (FRENCH BREAD) appears in the Display Window.
FRENCH BREAD
Ingredients: 1.5 LB 2 LB
Water, 80°F/27°C 1 cup + 2 TBL 1-1/3 cups
Olive Oil 1 TBL + 1 tsp 2 TBL
Sugar 1 TBL + 1-1/2 tsp 2 TBL
Salt 1 tsp 1-1/2 tsp
Bread Flour 3-1/4 cups 4 cups
Active Dry Yeast 2 tsp 2-1/4 tsp
Select FRENCH cycle
Select RAPID FRENCH cycle
Active Dry Yeast 2-3/4 tsp 1 TBL
ITALIAN HERB BREAD
