6. Select the checkbox next to the firmware you want to update, and then click Transfer.
NOTE
Do not turn off the printer or disconnect the cable during the update process and data transfer.
7. Check the content to be updated, and then click Start to begin the update.
The firmware update begins.
Mac
Download and install Transfer Express from the App Store to update the firmware.
1. Turn on the printer and connect the USB cable.
2. Double-click Macintosh HD > Applications, and then double-click the Transfer Express icon.
3. Click the Choose a printer pop-up menu, and then select your printer from the printer list.
4. Click the Download and Update button.
The firmware update begins.
