Confirm Printer Settings
To confirm the printer settings, you can print a Letter-size configuration report without connecting the printer to a
computer or mobile device. (The report will fit on A4-size paper.)
1. Turn on the printer.
2. Make sure no paper is loaded.
3. Press and hold the Feed button
until the Data indicator lights in red .
4. Insert a piece of genuine Brother thermal paper into the printer’s paper input slot.
The report starts printing.
The report indicates the model name, serial number, and more detailed information on the printer’s
configuration and parameter settings.
