You can use your printer as a stand-alone printer or connect it to an Android

mobile device. To create and
print documents directly from your mobile device, install the Brother mobile apps, and then connect your
printer to your mobile device via a USB cable. You can also transfer data, such as templates, symbols, and
databases created using a computer, to your printer from your mobile device via a USB cable. The cable is
sold separately.

Brother offers various free apps for use with your printer, including apps to print directly from your iPhone,
iPad, iPod touch, and Android
™
mobile devices, and apps to wirelessly transfer data, such as templates,
symbols, and databases created using a computer, to your stand-alone printer.

Mobile Transfer Express

layout, which were created on a computer using P-touch Editor and saved to a cloud
service, and send them to your printer. Download this Brother app from the App
Store.
AirPrint
(PJ-883)
Allows you to print from an Apple device (iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch) without
installing additional software.
Mobile Deploy
(PJ-862/PJ-863
/PJ-883)
Allows you to perform updates for the settings and firmware of printers using a
mobile device.
This software will send printer update files uploaded to DropBox or an HTTP(S)
