Perform a Discriminator scan under the same conditions but without kβ-filter. This scan gives a visual
impression how well kα- and kβ-radiation are separated.
Note
Lowering the lower and upper discriminator by 0.002 or even 0.004V can reduce the Kβ-
part but makes the detector sensitive (intensity fluctuation due to temperature changes)!
