Block nuisance calls

The Block button
The Block button can be used in
three ways to block nuisance calls to
your phone.
Incoming call – when you get a
call, it’ll show on the display screen.
Pick up the handset to hear the
callers announcement. If you don’t
want to take the call, press
. The
caller will be advised that their call
is not accepted and the call will be
disconnected.
During a call – if you’ve already
answered an unwanted call, press
.
If the number is displayed, you’ll be
asked if you want to block it from
calling again. Pressing Yes will end
the call and add the number to the
Blocked list. Press No to go back to
your caller.
In idle mode – use
to get to
the Call Control menu.
Tip
The Block button cannot be used
to block incoming calls from saved
contacts or speed dial numbers.
How do I accept, block or send a
call to the answer phone?
When a call comes through and is
announced:
To accept this call, press
.
To always accept this call, press
.
To block this call, press
.
To send this call to the answer
phone, press
.
or if you don’t want to take the
call, press the red
button.
Switching it on and o
When BT Call Blocking is switched
on, it’s on for whichever mode
you’ve chosen. When it’s o, all
incoming calls will get through.
