Setting Rear Shock Compression
Damping
1. Remove seat. See 2.41 SEAT.
2. See Figure 1-33. Using a screwdriver, turn the slotted
dial clockwise until it stops. This is the maximum com-
pression damping setting.
3. Then turn the dial counterclockwise the recommended
amount specified in Table 1-9.
1WARNING1WARNING
After installing seat, pull upward on front of seat to be
sure it is locked in position. If seat is loose, it could shift
during vehicle operation and startle the rider, causing
loss of control which could result in death or serious
injury.
4. Install seat. See 2.41 SEAT.
