Rear Door Security Locks
Your vehicle is equipped with rear door security locks
that help prevent passengers from opening the rear
doors
on
your vehicle from the inside. To use one
of these locks do the following:
1.
Open one of the rear doors.
2.
On the inside of the
rear door will be a
lock. Push the lever up
to engage the safety
lock.
3.
Close the door.
4. Repeat Steps
1
through
3
for the other rear
door lock.
The rear doors
on
your vehicle cannot be opened from
inside the vehicle when this feature
is in use.
If
you
want to open the rear door when the security lock is on,
unlock the door from the inside and then open the
door from the outside.
Canceling
the
Rear Door Security
Locks
1.
Unlock and open the rear door from the outside.
2.
Push the lever down to disengage the safety lock.
3.
Close the door.
4.
Repeat Steps
1
through
3
for the other rear door
lock.
The rear door locks
will
now work normally.
