If dust adheres to the image sensor and dust spots appear on the
images, you can clean the image sensor yourself with a commercially-
available camera blower. Before cleaning the sensor, detach the lens
from the camera.
The image sensor is extremely delicate. If the sensor needs to be
cleaned directly, having it done by a Canon Service Center is
recommended.

Select [Clean manually].
 Under the [52] tab, select [Clean
manually], then press <0>.

Select [OK].
 Select [OK], then press <0>.
 In a moment, the reflex mirror will lock
up and the shutter will open.

Clean the sensor.

End the cleaning.
 Turn off the power.
