      If you've forgotten your password, you can reset all the camera settings except the date and time using the reset switch. The default administrator password needed for initialization is 'camera'. Remember that network settings like the IP address and subnet mask will be reset and need to be configured again.

      If the VB Initial Setting Tool isn't working, check if the LAN cable is correctly connected, and try turning the camera off and on again. Note that the camera stops responding to the VB Initialization Tool 20 minutes after being turned on. Also, ensure that the camera and the PC running the tool are on the same LAN segment. The tool may not function with [Windows Firewall] enabled. Finally, check if you're using an older version of the VB Initial Setting Tool.
