• If
the engine
is
operating
abnor-
mally,

the exhaust condition

idle
or at
high RPM
is abnormal,
check the engine
compression.
If
you hear valve noise
or
the
engine
is not running
smoothly, check
valve
clearance.

There must be no loose

pipes.
There must be no fuel
leakage.
• Check for damage or deterio-
rated fuel hoses.

age
or deterioration.
• Check for dirty or clogged fuel
filter cartridge.
There must be no dirt
or clogging.
• Check for any abnormality in
injection pressure or spray con-
dition of injection nozzle.
* If there is no abnormality in the
exhaust or rotation condition
when idling or accelerating, this
inspection can be omitted.
Must be specified injec-
tion pressure, and
spray must be normal.

• Check for cooling water level,
dirty water.
Water level must be
correct, there must be
no marked dirt.
• Check for any water leakage
from radiator, engine, water
pump, hoses . Check for
clogged radiator fins.
There must be no water
leakage or clogging.
• Check for damage or deterio-
rated fuel hoses.
There must
be no dam-
age
or deterioration.
• Check that radiator cap valve
functions properly.
• Check for damaged valve seat
surface of radiator cap.

• Check the fan belt for tension.
