Macroplus complies with the requirements of IEC 801-2 level 4 (electrostatic noises) and IEC
801-4 level 4 (Burst noises on power supply and I/O cables).
The tests are meant to evaluate the reliability of the instrument and its functioning limits in relation
to a correct installation. All tests have been carried out simulating real situations as indicated by
IEC 801 standards.
Macroplus and its interfaces undergo "test in circuit", the most modern form of computerized test
where all electronic components are controlled. Also a "Burn-in" procedure for 72 hours at 60 °C
is meant to reduce the amount of possible faulty components.
Further automatic and semi-automatic tests ensure the perfect functioning of the controller.
