Why my CAS Scale will not power ON?

  If your CAS Scale won't power on, here's what you can check: * Ensure the power cord is plugged into a working outlet. Also, check and replace the fuse and power cord if necessary. * Inspect or replace the main power switch and the Power Supply Input Harness (CN1 PS). * If there's no power to the Main PCB, check/replace the Wire Harnesses (CN21 PS, CN22 PS), the Power Supply, Display Harness (J17/J18 M-PCB), Display Stalk, ADC Wire Harness (CON3 AD-PCB), AD-PCB, Network PCB or the Printer Assembly. * If the power to the Main PCB is OK, check/replace all EPROMs, the Memory Expansion PCB, or the Main PCB. Also, refer to the 'No power to Main PCB' solutions.

  If your CAS Scale powers on and goes to zero, but the weight is inaccurate, check for any obstructions on the platter or platform. Remove all items and cycle the power. Reprogram the weight settings and perform a span calibration. You may also need to check the 'Load Cell Not Ready' solutions.

  If the printed data from your CAS Scale's printer is faded, try these solutions: Check/replace the Media (Labels or paper), clean the Thermal Print Head, lower the Printer Speed, adjust the Print Head, check/replace the Rubber Roller (Platent), Wire Harness (J19 M-PCB), or Thermal Print Head.

  If your CAS Scale's printer prints blank labels, make sure the Print Head is in the lock-down position and that thermal labels or paper are properly installed. Check/replace the Media (Labels or paper), Wire Harness (J19 M-PCB), TPH Wire Harness (J13 M-PCB), Power Supply, Thermal Print Head, or Printer Assembly.

  If your CAS Scale powers on but displays an error, here are some possible causes and solutions: * **Printer Continuously Busy:** Check/replace the Printer System EPROM (U8 M-PCB), Main PCB, or Printer Assembly. * **Calibrated mass error:** Reprogram all Weight settings and perform a Span calibration of the scale. * **Load Cell not ready:** Check for any obstructions on the platter or platform. Also, check/replace the ADC Wire Harnesses (CON3 AD-PCB, CON2 AD-PCB), AD-PCB, or Load Cell Assembly. * **Zero Range Error (for more than 45 seconds):** Check for obstructions, remove all items from the platter and cycle the power.
