NOTE:Onlyapplicabletomodelswithanoverlapping
cylinderboom.
1.Starttheengine.
2.Movethemachinesothatyoucaneasilyviewand
accessthebucketwiththebackhoe.
3.Lowerthestabilizers.
4.Slowlymovetheendofthedipperarmbetweenthe
bucketlugspayingattentionthatthemechanicalcou-
plerhook(2)engagesthebucketpin(1).
NOTE:Makesurethatthebucketdoesnotrotateoff
themechanicalcouplerwhenmaneuveringtheback-
hoecylinders.
5.Raisetheboomandadjustthebucketcylinderuntil
theholeonthedipperarm(3)alignswiththeholein
bucketopening(4).

6.Stoptheengineandremovethestarterswitchkey.
7.CAUTION

Weareyeprotection.Donotstrikesteelpartswith
asteelhammer.Partsmaybreak.
Failuretocomplycouldresultinminorormoder-
