NOTE:Forelectronicmotors,becauseofthepresenceoftheadditionallobefortheinternalExhaustGasRecirculation
(EGR),itisnotpossibletousethevalveclearanceadjustmentprocedure,accordingtowhichtheadjustmentofthe
valveclearancemustbecarriedoutbyperformingonlytwoofthedriveshaftpositions.
1.EachcylindermustbecheckedbymovingittoTop
DeadCenter(TDC)atcompressionend.Adjustthe
clearanceofbothvalvesonecylinderatatime.
Adjusttheclearancebetweenrockerarmsandvalves
bymeansofsocketscrew(1),wrench(2)andthickness
gauge(3).Theclearancerequirementis:
•
Inletvalves0.2-0.30mm(0.008-0.012in)
•
Outletvalves0.45-0.55mm(0.018-0.022in)
