retainingpinandplacethesupportstrutontothecylinderrod.Installtheretainingpinintothesupport
strut.Lowertheliftarmsontothesupportstrut.
Failuretocomplycouldresultindeathorseriousinjury.

Locatedontheleft-handsideoftheloaderattachment,thissafetystrutenablestheloaderattachmenttobelocked
intheraisedpositionformaintenanceorservicingtheunit.
Two-WheelSteer(2WS)machines(580T,580ST ,and590ST)
Engagetheloaderarmsupportstrut:
1.Emptytheloaderbucket.
2.Raisetheloaderliftarmstothemaximumheight.
3.Stoptheengineandremovethestarterswitchkey.
4.Removethesplitpin(1)andthelockpin(2).

5.Placethestrut(3)onthecylinderrodandinstallthe
pin(2)andthesplitpin(1)backintotheholesinthe
strut.
6.Lowertheloaderattachmentuntilthesafetystrutis
rmlyagainstthecylinder.

Disengagetheloaderarmsupportstrut:
1.Raisetheloaderliftarmstothemaximumheight.
2.Stoptheengineandremovethestarterswitchkey.
3.Removethesplitpin(1)andthelockpin(2).
