7-MAINTENANCE
Wheelsandtires
1.Movethemachinetoalevelandrmground.
2.Placethedirection-of-travelleverandgearshiftleverin
neutralposition.
3.Immobilizethemachinewiththeparkingbrake.
4.Stoptheengine.
5.Unlockthenutsofthewheeltobedisassembled.
6.Starttheengine.
7.Usetheloaderattachmentortherearstabilizerstolift
themachineuntilthewheeltoberemovedisnomore
incontactwiththeground.
8.Stoptheengineandremovethestarterswitchkey.
9.Lockthewheelsstillincontactwiththegroundand
whicharenottoberemovedusingwedges.
10.Correctlysupporttheaxleofthewheeltoberemoved
withblocks.
11.Unscrewandremovethewheelnuts.
12.Removethewheel.
13.Installanewwheel,observingtheorientationofthe
treadpattern.
14.Reinstallandtightenthenutstothespeciedtorque:
•
Frontwheelnuts(2WS)=330N·m(243lbft).
•
Rearwheelnuts(2WS)=540N·m(398lbft).
•
Frontandrearwheelnuts(4WS)=700N·m(516lb
ft).
15.Removethewedgesfromthewheels.
16.Lowerthemachine.
17.Checktheinatingpressureofthetires.
18.Inate,ifnecessary.
