What you should do first depends on whether
your Macintosh is running under Mac OS 8.6
or Mac OS 9/OS X.
! Mac OS 8.6 Users
• Start from step 2 to install the USB driver.
• Note that the example installation presented here
uses Mac OS 8.6.
! Mac OS 9/OS X Users
• Installation of the USB driver is not required, so jump
directly to step 9.
• The following steps show installation under the
English OS.

Set the bundled CD-ROM into the Macintosh
CD-ROM drive.
3.
Double-click the hard disk that is specified as
your startup disk.
IMPORTANT!
• If you want to transfer files from the camera’s built-in
memory to a computer, make sure there is no
memory card loaded in the camera before you place
it onto the USB cradle.
