The following example shows how you can use the
% key as premium in various types of registration.
Note: Before registering premium, you should define
the % key as premium key. See the next page.

• You can manually input rates up to 4 digits long (0.01% to 99.99%).
Taxable status of the % key
•Whenever you perform a discount/premium operation on the last item registered, the tax calculation for discount/
premium amount is performed in accordance with the tax status programmed for that item.
•Whenever you perform a discount/premium operation on a subtotal amount, the tax calculation for the subtotal
amount is performed in accordance with the tax status programmed for the % key.
Applies the input value as a
premium rate (7%).

Applies the preset premium
rate (5%) to the subtotal.
