4. Remove the foam packaging material from the top of the instrument.
5. Using two (2) people, carefully lift the instrument from the shipping container, using the handholds in the foam
to securely hold the instrument.
WARNING
The SMART 6 weighs 60 pounds (27kg). While it can be safely lifted by a single person, if not lifted and
supported properly, a chance of sustaining an injury or damage to the instrument is possible. Using two
people to lift the instrument will greatly reduce both risks.
6. Place the instrument on the workbench.
