3.3.1 Variants of OMEGA FLEX locking devices
Locking devices are available in the LINE and V-NET variants. In LINE variant, authorisations are stored in the
locking device (in both online and offline systems). In the V-NET version, authorisations are stored in the
locking medium. The variant type determines the purpose and the type of administration for which the
locking device is intended.
