7.4.2 Battery warning system
When the battery output falls, the locking device displays additional signals when
l
authorised or unauthorised locking media have been held in the reading field of the locking device or
l
the locking device couples, e.g. after release mode or emergency mode was activated.
These additional signals are the battery warnings.
If you use the OMEGA Client software, you can have battery warnings sent to you automatically as e-mail
messages.

7.5 Battery replacement

Potential damage from incorrect batteries
The use of incorrect batteries may result in irreparable damage to the locking device.
Use only Energizer Ultimate Lithium 1.5V AA batteries.

Damage caused by the use of objects as battery changing aids
The battery, battery module housing or electronics may be damaged if you use an
object (such as a screwdriver) to remove the battery from the battery compartment.
Use only your hands to remove the battery; do not use any other objects.
The authorisations and other settings (opening durations, etc.) are retained in the memory of the
locking device after the battery has been removed.
The date and time are retained for about ten minutes after the battery is removed. If the battery is
removed for longer, the date and time must be set again.
