9.1.2 Deleting lost master media
If you are not using the CEStronics Suite software:
If you are only managing your system with master media and have lost
a master medium, you can no longer delete this specific master from
the locking devices. You must therefore(see "Deleting the System-
Master" on page61).
If you have lost the System-Master, you cannot delete the System-Master. Contact your CEStronics
partner immediately.
Deleting the System-Master has the following consequences:
l
All master media are deleted.
l
All authorisations issued by Program-Masters are deleted.
l
The locking device is reset to normal mode, i.e. all active opening modes (e.g. block mode) are deac-
tivated.
l
...with RF devices the connection between the RF devices is maintained.
The following settings are retained after deletion:
l
Settings implemented with the OMEGA Client (e.g. time profiles, locking device authorisations, etc.)
are retained.
l
Opening durations set with the Time-Master are retained.
l
Online devices remain in online mode.
9.1.2.1 Effect of deletion on opening modes
If you delete a master medium that can put a locking device into a different opening mode, the mode of the
locking device is retained after the deletion.
Exception: Deletion of the System-Master puts the locking devices back into normal mode.
Example: The locking device is in block mode. You delete the Block-Master from the locking device.
Following deletion, the locking device remains in block mode.
