Steps Signal
1. Hold the RF-Trace-Master in the reading field of the locking device for approx. 1 second.
The RF-Trace-Master is accepted. 1x short green
2. The locking device now indicates the quality of the wireless connection:
Excellent
Adequate
Weak
No wireless connection
During testing, the Access-Point linked to the locking device uses the same signals
to indicate the quality of the wireless connection.
3. Hold the RF-Trace-Master in the reading field for approx. 1 second.
Testing and signalling of the wireless connection quality is complete. 1x long green
The testing and signalling of the wireless connection quality is automatically
terminated after 3 minutes.
Troubleshooting:
Signal Cause Solution
After step 1:
1x long red The locking device is not a NET or VA
variant.
The RF-Trace-Master can only be used with NET and
VA devices.
