12.3 RF (Radio Frequency) Interference
EMC disturbance can aect the performance of the Intelect
®
RPW . To prevent the user from unacceptable risks the device runs
performance checks regularly during operation. This is what happens, if a problem is identified:
− an audio signal sounds
− the device stops immediately
− the message ERROR and an error code appear on the display
In this case you may attempt to restart the device by turning it briefly o and on with the power switch.
WARNING!
Portable RF communications equipment (including peripherals such as antenna cables and external
antennas) should be used no closer than  cm ( inches) to any part of the Intelect RPW , including cables
specified by the manufacturer. Otherwise, degradation of the performance of this equipment could result.
