4.6 Calculation parameters
Determines whether or not the harmonics are used
in calculating reactive quantities (power and
energy).

1. Select With harmonics or Without harmonics
using
.
- With harmonics: the harmonics are included
in the calculation of the reactive quantities.
- Without harmonics: only the fundamental is
used in the calculation of the reactive
quantities.
2. Validate using

for application of the parameter). The return
to the Configuration menu is immediate.
4.7 Connection
Defines the type of connection of the C.A 8230 to
the network.

1. Select single-phase or balanced three-phase
using
.
- Single-phase: measurement of the phase-to-
earth voltage associated with the phase-to-
earth current of a phase.
- Balanced three-phase: measurement of the
complementary phase-to-phase voltage of
the phase of which the phase-to-earth
current is measured. This connection is used
to calculate:
. The total powers and energies of a
balanced three-phase network (W, Wh,
VAR, VARh, VA, and VAh).
