to see if there is failure information record.

is stuck or over-tightened or idle adjusting screw
shifts.

Yes Repair or replace 3 Check if carbon canister control valve, fuel
pressure regulator, positive crankcase ventilation
vacuum tube, brake system vacuum booster tube
are safely installed or damaged.
No Go to next step
Yes Go to next step 4 Make engine run at idle speed, and place it in
neutral position, step down on the brake pedal to
see if idling speed is too high.
No Go to step 6
Yes Repair or replace
vacuum booster
5 Clamp vacuum booster tube to see if idling speed
turns normal.
No Go to next step
Yes Replace PVC valve6 Clamp positive crankcase ventilation vacuum tube
to see if idle speed turns to normal.

Yes Replace carbon
canister control

7 Clamp tube of carbon canister control valve to see
if idling speed turns to normal.

Yes Repair or replace 8 Check to see if idling speed actuator is dumb or
stuck.

Yes Repair or replace 9 Check somewhere else of air intake pipe to see if
leakage occurs.

Yes Go to next step 10 Check if injector seal ring is in good condition.
