4.5 IRR Calibration (IR Mode)

4.5.2 Insulation Resistance Calibration
■ Connecting a standard dummy load resistor between the high voltage output terminal
and low potential terminal of the Hi-Pot tester.
IRR Range1 (1000MΩ) ; the dummy load resistor is 1000MΩ.
IRR Range2 (100MΩ) ; the dummy load resistor is 100MΩ.
IRR Range3 (10MΩ) ; the dummy load resistor is 10MΩ.
IRR Range4 (10MΩ) ; the dummy load resistor is 10MΩ.
(1) Press [UP] or [DOWN] to select IRR range 1 calibration.
(2) To connect the standard dummy load resistor 1000MΩ.
(3) Press [STOP] [START].
(4) Press [INC.] or [DEC.] until shows the standard resistance value, ex. 1000MΩ and then
press [ENTER] for saving.
(5) Press [STOP] to stop IRR range 1 calibration.
(6) Press [UP] to change to the next calibration item.
(7) Change the standard dummy load resistor to 100MΩ.
(8) Press [STOP] [START].
(9) Press [INC.] or [DEC.] until shows the standard resistance value, ex. 100MΩ and then
press [ENTER] for saving.
