The storage drives are mounted in storage drive trays to simplify their installation and removal from the
chassis (see Figure 3-2). These trays also help promote proper airflow for the drive bays.
Note If you need to replace a storage drive, be sure to keep the existing storage drive tray, because
spare storage drives do not ship with storage drive trays.
