Clearing Dynamic Addresses from the MAC Table
Procedure
PurposeCommand or Action
Enters global configuration mode.switch# configure terminal
Step 1
Clears the dynamic address entries from the
MAC address table.
switch(config)# clear mac address-table
dynamic {address mac-addr} {interface [type
Step 2
slot/port | port-channel number} {vlan
vlan-id}
If this is a 10G breakout port, the
slot/port syntax is QSFP-module/port.
Note
Enabling RMAC Learning Feature
Procedure
PurposeCommand or Action
Enters global configuration mode.switch# configure terminal
Step 1
Enables/disables the RMAC learning feature.switch(config)# [no] mac address-table
router-mac learn-enable
Step 2
You can use the clear mac address-table
dynamic command to clear the learned MAC
addresses.
Verifying the MAC Address Configuration
Use one of the following commands to verify the configuration:

Displays the MAC address aging time for all VLANs
defined in the switch.
show mac address-table aging-time
Displays the contents of the MAC address table.
IGMP snooping learned MAC addresses are
not displayed.
