Sending a Text Message
1. Access the AirCard Watcher application from the Start menu (Start > All Pro-
grams > Sierra Wireless > AirCard Watcher) or the desktop shortcut .
2. Either click the
menu
button and select
SMS Express
,
or click the
SMS
Express
button
from the main program window.
3. Select
File > New Message
or click the
New
button in the toolbar.
4. Type the recipients phone number in the “
To
:” field (to send to multiple recipients
separate the numbers using a semi-colon or space).
5. Type the message (160 characters max) in the bottom part of the Message window.
6. Click the
Send
button or
Save
the message to send/edit later.
Note that you do not have to connect to the network to Send/Receive SMS mes-
sages as long as the module is on.
Sent Messages
Sent messages will be
automatically saved to
the
Sent
Items
folder.
