Switching off the WC if not used
for a long period
If not used for longer than one week
(e.g. holiday absence), energy is saved and
scale deposits reduced by switching off the
Closomat
®
.
It is essential to switch off if the WC is not
used for more than two weeks.
– Set main switch [1] (bottom left of WC
behind filter cover [2]) to “Off” (Illustra-
tion shows “off-position”).
Switching on the WC again
– Main switch to “On” [1]
The following procedure is recommended to
flush the system with fresh water if not used
for a long period:
– Press one of the two push-keys [6]
without putting weight on the seat:
Normal toilet flushing takes place.
– Press a push-key again and flush a
second time.
– Place the transparent checking cover [3]
supplied between porcelain [4] and seat
[5] (screening of douche jet).
– Press one of the two push-keys [6] with
one hand.
– With the other hand simultaneously press
down the seat [5] at the rear (weight on
seat hinges). The douche nozzle moves
from the initial position to the douche
position and the douche jet begins.
– Operate douche for approx. 30 seconds.
– Release push-key: the douche nozzle
returns to its initial position.
