Important points for care
and maintenance
• The casing parts may only be removed by
our service engineers or other authorized
skilled persons. They conceal live
electrical parts!
• The Closomat
®
must not be cleaned with
running water outside the pan area.
• Do not use scouring agents or abrasive
cloths or sponges for cleaning the
Closomat
®
. Wash down varnished surfaces
only with well-diluted domestic cleaning
agents.
• Do not use steam cleaning units for
cleaning the Closomat
®
.
• The seat unit and ceramic pan are
sensitive to blows – do not allow seat and
cover to drop when opening and closing.
• Never allow solvents, such as nail varnish
or varnish remover, to come into contact
with the Closomat
®
.
• Do not leave lighted cigarettes on the WC.
• The seat must be kept open while
aggressive scale remover is taking effect in
the pan.
• The openings below the “closed” flush rim
of the bowl must be kept free from lime
deposits.
• Periodically check with finger pressure
that the douche nozzle has run completely
back into its rest position. If this is
repeatedly not the case, please call our
Customer Service.
