Use of the Closomat
®
Normal operation as douche-WC
– Main switch should always be “On”.
– Guests using Closomat
®
for the first time.
To avoid unpleasant surprises, guests
should be familiarized with the principal
functions of the Closomat
®
before
using it.
Frequency of use
The WC requires a heating time of three
minutes after use before warm douche water
is again available.
1. Sitting
– Sit on the seat upright and relaxed: the
weight on the seat actuates the automatic
odour extraction process. Bad air is
removed from the pan and cleaned by an
odour-absorbing activated carbon filter.
– Ensure that the rear zone of the seat is
covered by the buttocks.
Temporary disconnection
of odour extractor
If no odour extraction is required:
– Wait until the sound of air is heard from the
odour extractor.
– Shift weight of body briefly forwards: odour
extractor is switched off
(weight removed from seat hinges).
– Sit normally again.
