Stimulation of bowel function
(douche without immediately following
drying)
The function of the bowels can be stimu-
lated in the event of sluggishness by
using the Closomat
®
douche. This can
often ini tiate evacuation of the bowels
in an uncomplicated and pleasant way.
The same applies to a possible complete
evacuation if only a partial evacuation has
initially taken place.
In both cases the undesired supply of
warm air after the douche is prevented as
follows:
– Move the body weight forwards
briefly (to take weight off seat): blower
switches off.
– Resume normal sitting: odour extractor
is switched on.
