Before washing, set the MEWP in driving po-
sition. In addition, stall the engine, take off
the batteries and remove the ignition key.
During washing, the machine must be turned
off and disconnected from the power supply.
The more you clean the MEWP, the more
you have to lubricate it.
Cleaning the electrical/electronic parts with
water is prohibited. Failure to comply with
this requirement can cause serious damage
to the system electric machine.
To clean electrical parts, use only dry clean-
ers.
Dry the machine thoroughly before turning it
on again (for example with compressed air).
Make sure that moisture has not entered the
electrical engine or other parts of the electri-
cal system.
4.9.3 Prevention against electric light-
ning stroke
If you need to work with the machine near power
lines, the user is obliged to keep an adequate dis-
tance.
Below there are the minimum safety distances to be
kept by qualified staff according to their type of volt-
age:

It is forbidden, in any case, to touch live
electrical conductors.
