WARNING! If you get the machine on a truck, secure the ma-
chine to the truck plane by couplings on the chassis and on the
outriggers. Keep the machine switched off during the transport.
4.4 MEWP use procedures
The following procedures shall be carefully carried out in the
correct chronologic order.
4.4.1 Placement on the working area
1. Turn on the endothermic engine through the start key SK supplied
(Picture 4).
• If you choose to use the electrical engine:
✓ connect the 110/120/230 V electrical socket to the nearest
electrical source;
✓ turn on the switch I on the electrical control board (Picture 15);
✓ start the electric engine by pressing the button SB (Picture
11).

2. With machine ready to travel (transport configuration), identify the
place which is nearest to the working area to reach, and move it
there by the travel joysticks J1 and J2 (Picture 8).
C.M.C. obligates to use the wired remote controls, in order to
perform the travel operations in safety.
3. Make sure the soil bears the load of the outriggers and check that
there are no manholes, floors or other soft structures in the contact
point of every outriggers plate with the ground.
