Set the Lockout time and confirm with .
Change or accept the 1,4 or 24 hour limit. If
the lock out screen would not appear, than the
lock out option is set to OFF. This can be
changed under the "Change set up" option.
To turn the limit OFF enter 0, then press

Depending on how this has been configured
under "Change set up" in "Program Limits" the
pump will ask you to set the limit in either
volume or number of boluses.
If the MediGuard® feature is enabled, the
pump will ask for "Max MediGuard® Rate" in
ml, mg or mcg per hour per kg bodyweight.
This sets a toxicity limit for the protocol based
on the patient's weight. If the protocol
parameters set exceeded the toxicity limit the
pump will not allow you to proceed to the next
step and will alarm "MediGuard® Limit
Exceeded" and return to the "Max
MediGuard® Rate" screen so you can check
and amend your entry if appropriate.
