After the usual display test has been performed when
switching on the instrument, the last stored measured
value is displayed.
The mem symbol indicates that the instrument is
in memory mode. The date and time on the display
match the time at which the measurement was
performed, and not the current time. The colon in this
time display does not flash – in contrast to the current
time display when not in memory mode.
