TROUBLESHOOTING THE IP1500 AND IP2500 SERIES SPEAKERPHONE
Thespeakerphoneisanetworkdevice.Thefollowingaretipsfortroubleshooting:
Power -Ensurethepowertoyourdeviceisworkingandratedfor802.11afPoEspecications.
Ping Test -Thisdeterminesconnectivityandthepacketlossandlatencytimetoandfromyour
destinationandthequalityofyournetworkconnectiontoyourspeakerphone.Ifyoureceiveno
responseandPoEpowerisconrmed,contactyournetworkadministrator.YoucanalsoPingfrom
withinthephonetowardsyourIPPBXtotestthatitcanreachitsregistrar.SeeCLICommands.
DHCP -ThespeakerphoneissetupforDHCPbydefault.IfyoucannotdeterminetheIPaddressof
yourspeakerphone,contactyournetworkadministrator.
Account -EnsureyourSIPorIAX2accountissetupcorrectly.Accountusernameandpassword
mustmatchtheaccountcredentialsonyourVoIPsystem.Thisisthemostcommonmistakewith
settingupSIPaccounts.
Codec -EnsureyourcodecsettingsonyourVoIPsystemmatchtheIPspeakerphonecodecset-
tings.
Firewall -FirewallscommonlyblockorpartiallyblockVoIPcalls.Checkwithyournetworkadminis-
tratorifyoucannotcommunicatewithyourspeakerphonefrombehindarewall.
