NOTE:
Evenifthescheduledrefuelingquantityforthisightisthesamewiththepreselect
fuelquantityshownontherefuel/defuelindicator,itisstillnecessarytooperatethe
INCR/DECRTswitchtosetthetargetrefuelingquantity.
CAUTION:CHECKTHELEFTANDRIGHTFUELTANKSFORFUELOVERFLOWDURING
THEREFUELINGPROCESS.EXCESSIVEREFUELINGWILLCAUSEFLOW-
INGOFUNWANTEDFUELTOTHENACAVENTANDDAMAGETOTHEAIR-
FRAMESTRUCTURE.
(i)SettheLHTANKREFUELINGandRHTANKREFUELINGswitchestotheOPENposition.
MakesurethattheLHTANKandRHTANKrefuelshutoffvalveCLOSEDannunciatorsare
offandtherefuelingoperationisstarted.
(j)Whenthetargetfuelquantityisreached,therefuelingoperationstopsautomatically.Make
surethattheLHTANKandRHTANKrefuelshutoffvalveCLOSEDannunciatorsareon.
(k)Stoptherefuelingoperation.
(l)SettheLHTANKREFUELINGandRHTANKREFUELINGswitchestotheCLOSEDpo-
sition.
(m)MakesurethatthePOWERSELECTIONswitchisintheNORMALposition.
(n)Rotatetheshutoffvalvehandleoftherefuelnozzletotheclosedposition,disconnectthe
refuelnozzlefromtherefuel/defueladapter.
(o)Installtherefuel/defueladaptercapontherefuel/defueladapter.
(p)Removeanyspilledfuelattherefueladapter,withadrycottonclothwipe.

(a)Makesurethattherelatedswitchesontherefuel/defuelcontrolpanelaresettothese
positions:
