1)Makesurethattherearenofuelleaks.
2)Makesurethatthematingsurfacebetweentherefuelnozzleandrefueladapteris
freefromunwantedmaterialandnotdamaged.
3)Makesurethatthecapbindingwireisnotmissingordamaged.
(e)Connecttherefuelnozzletotherefuel/defueladapter.Rotatethehandleattheendofthe
refuelnozzletoopentheshutoffvalve.
(f)Pressurizetherefuelingsystemto35psi～50psi(241.3kPa～344.7kPa).
NOTE:
Refuelingunderalowerpressureisallowed,however,itwilltakemuchlongertime.
(g)Makesurethatthereisnofuelowatthistime,andtheannunciatorsontherefuel/defuel
controlpanelshowasfollows(precheckoftheshutofffunction):

(h)SettheLHTANKREFUELINGandRHTANKREFUELINGswitchestotheOPENposition.
MakesurethattheLHTANKandRHTANKrefuelshutoffvalveCLOSEDannunciatorsare
offandtherefuelingoperationisstarted.
(i)Stoptherefuelingoperationwhenthetargetquantityoffuelisreached.Makesurethatthe
LHTANKandRHTANKrefuelshutoffvalveCLOSEDannunciatorsareon.
(j)Stoptherefuelingoperation.
(k)SettheLHTANKREFUELINGandRHTANKREFUELINGswitchestotheCLOSEDpo-
sition.
(l)MakesurethatthePOWERSELECTIONswitchisintheNORMALposition.
(m)Rotatetheshutoffvalvehandleoftherefuelnozzletotheclosedposition,disconnectthe
refuelnozzlefromtherefuel/defueladapter.
(n)Installtherefuel/defueladaptercapontherefuel/defueladapter.
(o)Removeanyspilledfuelattherefueladapter,withadrycottonclothwipe.
