NOTE:
Beforeyoutowtheaircraft,opentheexternalpowerreceptacleaccessdooratthelower
leftsideofthefuselage,andputtheNWSdisarmingswitchintheDISARMposition.
Aftertheaircraftistowedinposition,closetheswitchprotectivecapdowntomovethe
NWSdisarmingswitchtotheARMposition.
(8)Makesurethecommunicationisclearbetweenthemaintenancepersononground,mainte-
nancepersononboardandtowtractordriver.
(9)Makesurethattheaircraftispowered.
(10)Makesurethattheengineisshutdown.
(11)MakesurethatthepressureofNo.1orNo.2hydraulicsystemisnormal.
(12)Makesurethepressureofinboardandoutboardwheelbrakeaccumulatorsisnormal.
(13)Makesurethattherampareaandtowingwayareclearofallequipmentandotherunwanted
items.
(14)Closethepassengerentrydoor,emergencyexitdoors,cargodoors,servicedoorsandallser-
vicepanels.
(15)Makesurethatalltheaircraftgroundwiresareremoved.
(16)Makesurethatthewheelchocksofthenoseandmainlandinggearareinposition.
(17)Makesurethatparkingbrakeisset.
(18)Makesurethatthenosewheeloftheairplaneisintheneutralpositionvisually.
(19)Removethenosegearwheelchocks.
(20)Operatethetowbarlesstractortolifttheairplanenosewheel.

(c)Thetowbarlesstractorliftsthenoselandinggear,makesuretheholdingdeviceisfullyin
place,andwaitsfortowinginstructionfromthecrew.
(21)Turnonthepositionlightsandtheanti-collisionlights,andmakesurethattheselightsoperate
normally.
