Chapter 3 Network Applications
Compex SXP2224WM is ideally suitable for interconnecting networking segments. It is a multi-
port switch that can be used to build high-performance switched workgroup networks. It
supports auto MDIX/MDX which allows you to connect to another Ethernet switch or
workstations without changing straight or cross-over network cable.
3.1 Small workgroup
In the illustration stated below, Compex SXP2224WM can be used as a standalone
switch to which workstations, server, printer server are directly connected to form a
small workgroup.
