1.1 Overview

Comtech EF Data’s UT-4500 Series of C- and Ku-Band Up Converters (Figure 1-1)
are designed for the transmission of SCPC, DAMA and TDMA signals in
communication systems or satellite uplink data systems. These converters are
also used in communications system applications with full transponder HDTV and
analog TV.
The UT-4500 Series Up Converter family of products comprises:
