To take sharp
pictures,
the camera
must be held
steady.
Since
camera shake
is
the
major
cause of
blurred
pictures,
it is
recommended to
practice
holding the
camera steady
until
you get
familiar
with it.
Place the
camera
in the
palm
of
your
left
hand, hold
the
focusing
rrng
of the
lens so that
you
can turn it with
your
fingers,
hold the
grip
with
your
right hand
and
put your
forefinger
lightly on the Shutter
Release. Stick
the
left
elbow to
the body,
press
the camera
lightly against
your
face
and
look through the
viewfinder. Always depress the
Shutter
Release
gently.
You may hold the
camera
not
only
in the horizontal
position,
but
also in the
vertical
position
depending
on
the sublect.
In any case, study and
practice
the
posture
best
surted
to
you.
It is also
good
to
support
your
body or
camera on a building,
tree, and so on.
