Bungee Tie Downs
Two optional tie downs are provided to secure your shade in
windy conditions.
Install Bungee Tie Downs
1. Thread the Bungee through the Bottom Rail Endcap hole on the
shade (g. A).
2. Feed the ball end back through the loop to make a knot (g. A).
3. Attach the ball end to the receivers to secure the shade (g. A).
Receivers
Two Receivers are provided to work with the Bungee Tie Downs.
For Frame Mount Receivers:
•
Install the Receivers approximately 5" below where the shade will
stop to allow for proper tension of Bungee cord (g. B).
•
Position the screw holes toward the oor.
•
Pre-drill two ⁄" holes and then screw in the Receiver.
•
Attach the Bungees to the Receivers to secure the shade.
For Flush Mount Receivers:
•
Find the center point on the oor below the Bungees on each side
of shade. Dry t where the Receiver will mount into the surface.
•
With a hole saw, cut a 2.75" hole.
•
Insert the Receiver into the hole. Pre-drill two ⁄"
holes and then screw in the Receiver to oor (g. C).
•
Attach Bungee by sliding the ball end into the hole.
Crank shade up slightly to make Bungee taut.
